Mesh Maker Pro is the perfect tool for anyone who needs to create 3D models. The ability to export *.3ds files gives it a wide varity of uses, and the ability to export *.X files makes it the ideal tool for DirectX devolopers. It allows you to create, and edit an object at a vertex level. With Mesh Maker Pro it is very easy to create an object. Mesh Maker Pro has a unique user interface that allows you to create and edit an object in a 3D perspective viewport. Everything is done with a 3D cursor. If you want to move the cursor back, simply hold down the right mouse button,and move the mouse up, or down.

- Exort a mesh as *.X, or *.3ds file.
- Create Cubes, Spheres, Cylinders, and Plans with a varity of complexitity levels.

Mesh Maker Pro provides 4 different ways of displaying an object when editing it.




Points can be selected using the 3D selection box.
When the selection box isdragged in only the x, and y directions it will select all the points thatare behind it.
When it is dragged in the z direction (usuing the right mouse button) it will select all the points that are contained in the box.

New Texture Mapping program That is Under Development
A beta version is now available:

- General Info
- The 3D cursor
- When you start the program you will notice that there is a white 3D crosshairthat you control with the mouse, and a green crosshair.
- The green crosshair is the origin.
- The white crosshair is the 3D cursor.
- At any time in the program the 3D cursor can move in 3 directorns.
- To move in the X direction move the cursor left and right.
- To move in the Y direction move the cursor up and down.
- To move in the Z direction hold down the right mouse button, and move the cursor up or, down.
- Modes
- Create Mode
- In Create mode you can create new polygons.
- Edit Mode
- Translate mode
- Scale mode
- Rotate mode
- The 3D selection box. (see screen shots)
- The selection box can only be used when the program is in edit mode.
- The 3D selection box can be dragged in the x, y, and z directions.
- To Drag the selection box in the z direction while you are still holding down the left mouse button, hold down the right mouse button and move the mouse up and down.
- If the selection box is dragged in only the x, and y directions it will select all the points that are behind it.
- When it is dragged in the z direction it will select all the points that are contained in the box.
- Selecting Faces.
- If all 3 points that belong to a face are selected, then the face is selected.
- All the polygons in the scene are contained in one mesh object. Mesh Maker Pro does not contain any time of object heirchy.
- Creating
- There are 2 ways of creating an object
- import a shape
- Click on Shape on the Menu.
- Click on the shape you want to create.
- The Shape Dialog will appear.
- Choose the shape you want to create.
- Choose the complexity of the shape in the segments box.
- Enter a scale factor.
- A scale factor of 1 produces a shape that is 1 x 1 x 1.
- After a shape is created the program is automatically switched to Edit mode.
- Create individual polygons
- Be sure that the program is in Create mode. Do this by clicking on the menu item Mode.
- click in space to create the first point.
- You can create up to 9 points before closing the polygon.
- If you create move than 3 points before closing the polygon, the program will automatically divide it into many polygons that have 3 sides.
- Changing the direction faces are facing
- When faces are created they are initalized facing the camera.
- To Change the way a face is facing.
- If the faces are the most recent faces created.
- Click on Face on the menu.
- Click on Flip Last Created Faces.
- If the faces are not the most recent faces created.
- Select it by selecting the 3 points that are at it's edges.
- Click on Face on the menu.
- Click on Flip Selected Faces.
- Editing
- Deleting
- When delete is pressed a dialog box appears. It contains two waysof deleting.
- Faces
- Remove all the faces that are selected (all the points that belong to thepolygon are selected).
- Points
- Remoe all the faces that have at least one corner selected.
